       I want to tell you how much I enjoyed the Holiday Concert.  The applause was

   thundering and I just love that.  The audience was wonderful for being there and

  my friends and music artists Ed Wagner, Diane Curry, Sharon Jordan Leal, the

Mariposa Chime Choir, Dr. Dave High, his wellness circle and Pete Shahbazian,

all were great; I look forward to our next time to perform together.

    I will update you my friends, about the donations to the charity organizations from the

 Holiday Concert soon.

     On this day, 'Ricky High Holiday Concert with nutrition forum' is being held at

  Fresno's Veteran Auditorium Theater.  I will be singing Christmas favorites, playing some

music with classical edition from 'moi!'  Dr. Dave High and his Wellness Circle will be

presenting Holiday and everyday nutrition information. My friends, concert pianist

Ed Wagner and popular pianist, Diane Curry and the talented Mariposa Chime Choir

will join me for the performance as well.  Ticket $10, proceeds will be to charities.

There will be door prizes and gift certificates.  Sunrise Health Foods and High

Enterprises sponsor the event.

   About the charity agencies that I visited in December 2009 for the donation:

 Children Hospital of Central California and  Marjoree Mason Center.  Toys were distributed

 per the Marjoree Mason Center to the Children at the agency as well before Christmas Day, 2009. 

I stopped by Redcross in the New Year of 2010 and I presented the donation from the proceeds of the

2009 Christmas Concert.

Today I had my holiday concert with my friends at the Fresno Memorial Theater. I sang many holiday songs and performed Nessum Dorma with Mr. Ed Wagner at the piano. The audience just loved it. The enthusiasm was exhilarating throughout the concert! I appreciate those who supported during this event and made it very memorable and enjoyable for me!

November 12

Besides my holiday concert I will be hosting the two day events of the California Youth Singing and Dancing Competition. I'm looking forward to the performances of the talented youths in Central California!

November 11

On this day I attended the Veteran's Parade at the viewing stand in front of Fresno Veteran Museum. It was great to see all the marching bands, floats and the Veterans coming  from all over the nation  to attend this event(one of the largest events of the nation)! The love for our country was so overwhelming and shared by everyone. I was very honored and humbled to be invited to the event. I sang God Bless America, America the Beautiful-the audience just loved it with thundering applause! I had a great time!

     On this day, I sang at the annual Children choir festival at the beautiful and new

Mount Olive Church.  Young adults and children of different churches from

Fresno-Clovis cities participated in the event.  It was standing room only during

the event.  I just love the  crowd:  I love the enthusiasm, thundering applause and

ovations.  We all had a great time.

     On this day, I accepted an invitation to sing at the Celebration of the Irish Evening

at the Council of the Knights of the St. Anthony Church of Padua.  I sang a few of the Irish songs with

a wonderful Irish Band and we even worked in New York, New York as a finale! The audience was a great

crowd with thundering applause after each of the songs that I sang . We all had a great time.

Monthly "Kids Can! starring Ricky High" on KMPH Fox TV channel 26 @ 6:30AM.

I sang the National Anthem for the city of Fresno during the 75th, Diamond Anniversary Holiday Parade. There was a troop of military personnel march in front of me, I was very honored and thrilled.

The Mayor of Fresno, Mr. Alan Autry was present at the parade and we all had a good time. There were about 15,000-20,000 people along the parade route. There were spots where I could see 8-10 people deep. I sang some holiday songs on the back of the convertible car that my dad drove, who also dressed as Santa Claus, along the parade route. The audience loved it and clapped and sang along!

On this day I sang the National Anthem at the banquet hosted by the City of Clovis, in which to honor the over 350 volunteers who gave their time to the benefit of the City of Clovis and its citizens. There was a great crowd representing some of the very best community services. I felt very honored being there and I had an awesome time. I also loved the great cheers and applause following my performance.  I especially loved the hugs and handshakes with Mayor Lynne Ashbeck (Clovis Mayor), Jim Zulim (Clovis Police Chief), Janet Stolle-Lee (PR for the Clovis police department, the ever-so friendly former anchor woman for Fox channel), and the volunteers.

Today I was a guest vocalist at the Annual Children Choir concert which was organized by Mount Olive Children of the King Youth Choir.
There were two other choirs participating in the event. I performed: "I Thank God" and " Wind Beneath My Wings".

What a crowd!! There was so much thundering from the applause and ovations throughout my performance- I just loved it!

Happy New Year!

Today the TV show Kids Can on KMPH was broadcast at 6:30AM. It was basically a rerun of my trip to Washington D.C. and the different historical monuments that I visited.

Every Sunday I  broadcast on radio KBIF 900AM, at 11:00 in the morning. I really enjoy doing my TV and radio show. The purpose of my radio and TV show is to highlight my music. It's a great joy for me to be part of my audiences' world.

Ricky High Holiday Concert broadcasted on KMPH TV  Fox26.

Every Sunday in December at 11:00AM, KBIF 900AM, The "Ricky Andrew High radio show" features Ricky's holiday concerts in 2002 and 2003. Have a happy holidays.

On the 6th of Dec. I was in the 74th Holiday Parade in Fresno. I sang the national anthem and led in the parade with the color guard in front-which is a great honor to me. I saw lots of people along the parade route; about four/ five people deep-IT WAS GREAT-lots and lots of people. The public cheered and clapped as I sang some of my Christmas songs. It was great holiday fun! I even got to shake hands with our Mayor, Mr. Alan Autry-he told me what a great job I did and that he likes my singing a lot!

I love the audiences' support and their thundering applause throughout the concert. It was a great concert and the guest artists were terrific. I enjoyed the broadcast of me by Channel 30, ABC news. They're simply a great news broadcasting team.

Today my show aired on FOX TV 26. It was about my trip to the Air and Space museum in Washington D.C. It was actually mostly about politics because I was in Washington D.C. President Bush is also on the show- if you didn't see our president in Dinuba there were clips on my show. I also asked a question to our congressman, George Radanovich about how he represents the people of central California. There is also other information about honey and bees. My  TV show aired today on FOX KMPH TV 26 again! For those who missed this show...all I have to say is you missed a great show. This one was about my trip to the Caribbean and New Orleans. I had a fun time performing a 4th of July concert at the Island Waterpark in Fresno. The audience response was great with thundering applauses! My fans told me they liked the selections of me being broadcasted on TV KMPH26 NEWS- the news broadcasters are my favorites. They're so friendly and humorous.

On this day, I performed for the guests on the Carnival Conquest of the Carnival Cruise Lines. The lounge was filled with thousands of people from around the world. I really was very honored when I received the applauses throughout the performances, and especially the ovations. What a great crowd!

I performed today at The Big Do fashion and beauty expo at the Fresno Convention Center new exhibit hall. I had two shows and the audience was terrific, the applause just bring down the house!  Of course I loved it! The Dj from Y101, Johnny Dingo, was just great! He gave me such a great and true introduction.

I had a great interview with the radio Y101. I also had a good tour of the radio city where the infinity broadcasting headquarter is located. I talked to Niki and Ryder, the Djs. They are really two of my favorites. They're funny and friendly.

This is the premier day of my own show: "Kids Can! Starring Ricky High" on KMPH 26 Fox channel. It is a monthly show. The next show is schedule to be broadcasted on June 1st at 6:00 AM. Be sure to tune in.

"Kids Can" is about what kids can do to help making the community better. There is one segment in the show called "Travels with Ricky". It's where I go to different places and show you a little bit about that place. I had so much fun doing the show. This day I performed for the Auxiliary Women's Luncheon at the California Armenian Home. The large crowd of patrons just loved me! They kept cheering me on with loud applauses! I could tell they really loved Strangers In The Night by Uncle Frank Sinatra and Unchained Melody. I offered the song God Bless The USA as my finale for this day.

I was on stage at NBC studios, Stage 1, Burbank, Ca. I rehearsed and tested the stage for the Most Talented Kid in America show. The stage was awesome! I met the producers and the host of the show. They were a great team to work with. Oh yeah, I also met Jay Leno- what a great guy, and not only did I get to talk with him I got to take a picture with his car!

This is the day I performed my concert. The audience just loved me! There were thundering applauses throughout the performances. A few selections from my third album, " Why Complain" had also been performed with great receptions. So if you want to hear them be sure to tune in to your radio station and listen to the new songs. I was so encouraged by your response to my previous concert, so I've decided to hold another one on the 28th of February, in the spirit of friendship and St. Valentine's Day! I performed my Christmas concert on this day.The entertainment was superb, and more than half of what we received went to go to help those in need in the Fresno County area! I was Grand Marshall of the 73rd Annual Holiday Parade through downtown Fresno today! My dad dressed up as Santa Claus and drove me down the street in a cherry-red convertible while I opened up with "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". Right behind me was another convertible car with the Mayor of Fresno himself, Mr. Alan Autry! We had a police car escort (no sirens, unfortunately, but their lights were on!) and police motorcycles were on the side streets, too! People lined the sidewalks on both sides, and it was a sea of smiles from left to right!
After "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", I sang "Jingle Bell Rock"; next was "The Star-Spangled Banner", during which a whole bunch of doves (which symbolize Peace on Earth) were released. (Generally it's not a good idea to let out a bunch of birds when you're in a convertible, but the doves were very well-behaved!)
After the doves were let go, I sang "White Christmas", then "Joy to the World", "Silent Night", and finally an encore of "White Christmas" again.
We ended the parade route near the Fresno Bee headquarters downtown, where I got to meet Scoopy, the Bee's bee; he shook my hand! The mayor did, too, and told me how good I was!

This was my second appearance at the Big Fresno Fair, for another hour. I hope you came for both of them, as they both offered different selections of songs to be experienced. I knew it was a little early for the Christmas season, but I got enough requests so I let myself be talked into performing some of the songs from my second album. So now you know what to expect from me in December...maybe!

This Wednesday was Opening Day for the Big Fresno Fair; my first appearance as a head-lining act at the Fair! This was the first of two engagements; I performed for a full hour. During this time, I sang some old favorites, plus some new material. As this was such a big venue, I can't say how excited I was to be a part of the Big Fresno Fair! I mean, this is like the biggest musical opportunity this side of San Francisco! Needless to say, I was very much looking forward to bringing my talent before such a wide and variegated audience! We all had a lot of fun!

On the first Saturday in September, I performed at the Madera County Fair, and I had a whole hour in which to sing some of my (and your) favourites! As expected, I used the month I had to continue my voice-training, and expanded my ever-growing repertoire of songs. The crowd was very receptive, and I ended with a standing ovation! Of course, everyone was standing to begin with, but c'mon... =)

On this day, I performed on the main stage at Grizzlies' Stadium in downtown Fresno, CA during the Children's Friendship Game festivities. I crooned my way through a mini-concert in the time slot they gave me, and ended to thunderous applause! I couldn't have done it without the support of my mom and dad, or my sisters Victoria and Diana (who threw some groovy moves on the crowd)! All the way back to the dressing room, people (especially kids) were lining up to shake my hand and get my autograph; when that happens, you know that stardom (or at least fandom) has arrived! Talk about being in the big-time! Oh, and that electronic marquis-thingy that zooms in on the stage? WAY cool. I EVEN HAD MY NAME IN LIGHTS!! Yeeeeeah!

This was the day of my encore performance. Now, since the 4th of July had passed, this set did not include nearly as many patriotic songs. So, if you're a proud American, I'm sure you hit the 4th of July show...and then you saw this one, when I sang an entirely different mix, since I know you love me! But, as I promised, it was just as good...if not better! My fan base seems to be growing by leaps and bounds, at least from the sound of them!

Hurray! I gave a solo concert at the Alameda County Fair; it was around (or in) Pleasanton. Somewhere. Anyway, I sang quite a few patriotic songs (of course!), and my World Famous backup dancers (Victoria and Diana) were there to wow the unwary! Did you see us? We were at the Bandstand! And boy, was this crowd boisterous! They loved me!

Yay! I was interviewed by a reporter from Channel 47, here in Fresno CA, for broadcast on 06/19/2002 during the evening news! It was re-broadcast on Sunday, too. Anyway, it was this sort of exposè of local wunderkind, and I was in it! My first television interview! And I sang, too! Oh, yeah...it was Channel 07, for those of you with cable!

I headlined a one-hour concert at the Sunrise Assisted Living home; I sang, with two of my sisters (Victoria and Diana) as backup dancers. We performed for THE BEST audience I've ever had; when I sang "God Bless America", some of them cried. That was the greatest applause I've ever had.

Back at Borders again for another group concert...this time, though, it was outside. I'd added a few new songs to my repertoire, and decided that this was the place to test-drive them: "Unchained Melody", "Stand By Me", "Underneath The Appletree". When I was done, a nice person assured me I had about a hundred new girlfriends. Ick!

At Knott's Berry Farm in Anaheim, CA, I sang in the afternoon show for a BIG crowd! I mean, HUNDREDS of...maybe a THOUSAND...people! Thank heavens I don't suffer from stage fright! Well...maybe one butterfly...!

I sang "Over the Rainbow" and "The Wind Beneath My Wings" at Progressive Home Club in the Tower District; it was the birthday of the Club president. I didn't pop out of a cake or anything, but it was still a memorable evening!

Liberty School held a carnival, and I was there to sing on this day! I sang "Meet Me in St. Louis"; I love this song, even though it's kind of silly, because it has a really nice melody to it! I also sang "The Star-Spangled Banner", "God Bless America", and "New York, New York". I love patriotic songs, which I think "New York, New York" is one of, after the bad things happened there. But Frank Sinatra rocks, too.

I was invited to submit my version of "Ave Maria" and "O Holy Night" at the radio station KJWL 99.3 FM here in Fresno, CA; I also got to tape a greeting for the station, to be played at some future date. They said they liked my "unique vocal style"!

The newspaper here in my town, the Fresno Bee's "Neighbor" magazine, interviewed me and had a big picture of me on the second page! I had a big article up, and they discussed my career, my CD, and my voice...and they were thrilled! Yay!
